Owner/John Kohlman
John is a security specialist and an experienced law enforcement manager, having worked in the industry for over 30 years with the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the Washington State Employment Security Department (ESD), and Pinkerton Consulting and Investigations, Inc.
John started his career as an agent with the DOJ where he conducted and supervised enforcement operations to prevent terrorists, contraband smugglers and foreign national criminals from entering the United States. He later transferred to DHS where he conducted and supervised investigations involving national security, firearms, gangs, identity theft, internal affairs, and tracking down international fugitives. After retiring from the Federal government, John worked as a fraud investigator for the ESD Office of Special Investigations, and as a security contractor for Pinkerton Consulting and Investigations, Inc.
John held a Top-Secret security clearance and is a graduate of the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center, DHS Supervisory Leadership Training Center, and DHS Advanced Supervisory Leadership Training Center.
Homeland Security Operations LLC is a private security company operating in the Pacific Northwest.
